CARVER C9 UPGRADED 'QUICK FIX'

Well, I did it. For someone who wants the advantage of an upgraded C9, but no extras, here is a unit that I did an upgrade to that involved all the necessary replacement parts and a little more. RCA jacks have been replaced, ALL electrolytic capacitors, an AC switch and cord, and even a special ferrite sleeve with multiple passes are included. Costs were saved by not making an external power supply and using the existing transformer. The feet are original, not Sorbothane or silicone, and the chassis was pretty much left alone. It is in decent shape, and I rate it at a 7. Works perfectly, and can ship by Monday. I will even include an owners manual that is very helpful for initial set up. I have hi-lighted what are important tips and 'must do' information. .......................................................................................If you have purchased a used C9 somewhere, and it works, chances are that you like the sound. The better news is that I can upgrade your C9 unit for a very reasonable fee. On the other hand, if you leave as is, then it's a pretty good bet that the unit no longer performs up to it's full potential. Buying a classic car is much the same way. No doubt something worth having, but better when brought back to at least it's original condition or better. Simply read my feedback here and have no doubt that you are making the right decision.
