** SALE PENDING **
Vintage Belles 150, 100 WPC mosfet driven amplifier in excellent condition, second owner.
This beauty includes wooden side panels, available as a $100 option during it's successful run on the market in the late 80's / early 90's.
This legendary Belles amplifier is one of the designs that put Dave Belles and his Power Modules Company on the audiophile radar screen a few decades ago, and Belles continues to produce some of the finest sounding, most
highly regarded products on the hi-fi market
today.
And the sound?? Absolutely phenomenal in every relative factor important to audiophiles, but most of all, this hot-rodded Belles 150 simply creates gorgeous sounding music. The sonics are just breathtaking!
Also included with this unique offering is an Audio Art Cable1.0m Statement II power cable with Furutech FI-28(G) male plug hardwired to the amp by Electrolab Audio Service, a $650 value! The cord is mounted and secured with a custom fit nylon grommet to the amp's rear panel and interior, well secured for the life of the amp. It also turns the already exceptional 150 into an amp that truly is to be reckoned with into and beyond the $2,000 list price range!
What was already an exceptional solid state amp in the pre-owned vintage audio marketplace is not only a one of a kind, but an exceptional performance value at the asking price!
The amp is in very good condition cosmetically, and in perfect operating condition. Cosmetics include a few small mars to the wood finish, and one noticeable scratch on the top right front corner, shown in the images. Overall, the exterior is in very good condition.
While our friends at Electrolab were professionally installing the Audio Art Statement II power cable in March 2015, all parts and circuits were thoroughly checked and tested to spec for operability, and all screws, nuts, washers were secured, and replaced with new hardware where needed. This sweetheart has a clean bill of health to operate flawlessly for years to come, and truly offers exceptional performance. You will be very pleased!
Cosmetically, the unit is a 7/8 -10, and functionally a 9/10.
Original pricing not listed but would have been $749 for the amp in the 80's, plus the value of the professionally installed Audio Art power cable at $650.
The amplifier will be professionally double boxed in new, sturdy correlated containers, fully protected with quality packing materials.
