Offered for sale is the rare to find on Audiogon, highly regarded solid state multi channel analog preamplifier.
Considered by many to be the best sounding analog multi-channel pre-amplifier for SACD, Bluray and DVD-Audio sources like the Oppo 95/105, Marantz, Denon and other players.
Has Balanced inputs as well as 2X7.1 channel inputs (you could actually connect one Oppo BDP95/105 and use the other as a by-pass for the Home Theater processor!
I have tried several multi channel preamplifiers in my pursuit for the highest resolution multi channel system that can do justice for SACDs.
No processor will ever do justice to sacds as they will never be as transparent as a true analog multichannel preamp.
You will never know how much of the fidelity of the original signal is lost until you hear it through this unit.
Goose bump inducing sonics!
Started with Sony TAP-9000ES and moved on to Parasound P7, Audio Research MP-1 (high resolution, but noisy) and finally ended up with this outstanding unit.
Please take a look at the specs...the output levels are one of the highest in the industry to bring out the smallest nuances!
In my opinion (as well as several other online forum members) it is one of the best ...for 2 channel or 7.1 channel.
This is the Gen II version with several significant internal hardware/component updates for the highest resolution possible............please google and read the glorious reviews from 6moons, stereophile and others
Drove my SoundLab, all electrostatic 7.1 channel surround music/movies system to it's full glory.....
Selling only due to downsizing. Need to create space for my son's playroom by sacrifcing my man cave!
In great condition, (rated 8/10 only to be safe...could easily pass for 9/10) flawless sonics and in near perfect cosmetic condition.
Comes with manual, original box packaging, original power cord and factory universal touchscreen backlit LCD remote that can control several other components.
One minor issue with the remote...the LCD display on the touchscreen has missing/dead pixels......fully funtional but display is not as crisp as new.
Buy with confidence from a long term audiogoner with perfect feedback.

This unit does not have HDMI inputs! You can actually use a processor/ receiver with HDMI inputs and connect it to the unit in 7.1 channel bypass mode so you can enjoy the best of both worlds...All analog and all digital)Part of the reason why the sound quality is so pristine is because it has an all analog signal path for all the inputs (2 x 7.1 channel single ended, 2 pairs of single ended, 1 pair of balanced) and outputs (7.1 balanced XLR, 7.1 single ended, 1 pair for Zone 2). It requires analog sources like Oppo BDP-95/105 for example and does not contaminate the audio signal with HDMI jitter! |
