AUM Amplifier Lotus w/silver, Cardas, blackgates LM 3785 chip amp

Very rare, and no longer made, as builder stopped when Blackgate caps were not available. This is like an Audio Sector Patek taken to the nth degree. Only 6 were ever made and I have a copy of the $1100 parts sheet. Isolation is very important in a chip amp and this one goes to incredible lengths, with copper chassis, Jacarunda wood case, steel and other materials. Lotus flower is engraved in the Plexi top , which displays the Blackgates and the dual Plitrons. UNBELIEVEABLY fast, 50 wpc but needs to see very close to 8 ohms and doesn't like current hungry speakers. Cardas silver wire and connections. Very small. Very solid and dense. Has never been my primary amp, as I bought it as a collectible and for run in use with other equipment. Has been out of my system for some time and has only one flaw, that being a fingernail inprint in the rather soft wood. It can't be photographed and is extremely minor, but you can find it if you look I am selling a few bits from older systems and getting rid of another amp and other items ( see other ads). Unit is perfectly functional and aesthetically very pleasant, if a bit drab, due to coffee/chocolate colored stain used on the Jacarunda wood. PP ads 3%. Ships at buyers expense.
