| Hi, I had 12 ceiling speakers which are driven by old denon receiver and a 12 channel sonance amp. I now add 2 more speakers in my bed room. I'm looking for a stereo receiver with multi zone option that I can use the preamp out to my 12 channel amp from one zone and also hook up the other 2 speakers directly to the other zone. I also want to listen to all 14 speakers from 1 source with the volumn control from the receiver. I saw your sony has multi room option but not sure it can support my need. Please let me know. This receiver has zone 2 output but I believed it is a fixed output not variable so you won't be able to adjust the zone 2 volume from this receiver. You may need to look into an av receiver that has zone 2 preouts such as a Denon avrx1100w($450).
