You can hook up two high-resolution video components to the '2807 via digital HDMI connections for the best possible picture quality. Analog-to-HDMI video conversion lets you send all of your video sources to an HDMI-capable TV using only a single digital cable. And to make the most of your older analog video sources, the '2807 converts them to 480p progressive scan. This greatly streamlines video switching and preserves maximum picture quality for every source in your system. And if you don't have a TV with a digital video input, the '2807's component video conversion provides simplified switching for all your video sources.

iPod integration
The '2807 also lets you enjoy your iPod's music and video libraries through your home theater system when you add the optional Denon ASD-1R control dock. A version of the iPod's menu appears on your TV. You can also use the receiver's remote to create on-the-fly playlists of your favorite songs and videos.

XM Satellite Radio Ready
If you're a fan of XM Radio, you'll love how easily you can add it to the '2807. Plug in an optional XM Mini-Tuner package and activate your XM subscription for access to more than 170 XM channels. You can view XM station and song info on your TV screen, and change channels using the '2807's remote.

Intelligent auto-setup
This receiver also offers Audyssey Laboratories' MultEQ XT, a sophisticated auto-calibration system that makes home theater setup both accurate and easy. Just plug in the included microphone and place it in up to six different seats in your home theater room. The '2807 collects acoustical data from each seat, then fine-tunes the response of every speaker in your home theater to ensure precise sound across a wide listening area.
