A very nice RSP-976. This is a great opportunity to start an audiophile home theater on a budget. This is a great center piece to an entry level audiophile system. "Entry-level" only because newer and exponentially more expensive processors now have more bells and whistles. This 976 performs beautifully! I had it paired with a Rotel RB-985 mkII and then a RMB-1075 (both also for sale). Both pairings sounded amazing pushing stereo or 5.1 home theater. I recently upgraded and need to make space. This was the first piece I ever bought and I got it right here from another Audiogoner. I never had a problem with this processor and respectfully enjoyed it in my smoke and pet-free home. It has a couple of very minor (barely noticeable) flaws and 8/10 is a very conservative rating. Have a close look at the photographs! It comes complete with the original RR-969 learning remote, manual, power cord and original double box. The remote suffers from the universal problem of having become "sticky" with age - I've read many descriptions of this problem. I believe it may be due to some kind of oxidation. It continues to function flawlessly and is only slightly affected cosmetically. It has actually "dried" a bit and is not terribly noticeable.
I'm certain you'll be as thrilled with this RSP as much as I have been!!
