While the Rotal Pre-amp / Processor does not have HDMI connections, it is still a hi-quality pre-amp capable of being the center of a great starter hi-fi system.  It built very well and is a very quiet unit.  Send a digital feed form a digital music streamer into it and it will decode the highest digital signals available today.  the face is clean, but the top has a number of scratches toward the back as seen in the picture.  This does not affect performance.  Includes the processor, power cord and manual.  No remote is included.

It’s tough finding a surround-sound processor that’s flexible, affordable, and sounds good. Fitting eight channels of complicated electronics into a small chassis and making it intuitive to use takes good design and planning.
