McIntosh MX150 Upgraded To MX151 Spec RoomPerfect

Paypal fees and shipping to the contiguous 48 included at my asking price. If you can do local with cash I can adjust the price accordingly. If you're close enough to do a local deal also possibly interested in solid state amplifier trades. FPB series Krells, higher power/current McIntosh or a pair of the Marantz MA-9S2 to go with the ones I have now. If it's something that will fit my current project and we can agree upon market value of our respective items can go either amps plus cash (to me) or MX150 plus cash (to you).

This was a one owner, problem free, unit that I just purchased from one of the most respected dealers of new and used McIntosh gear in the country. Functionally there is no difference between this and the current MX151 model once firmware has been updated. 8/10 rating only because this is (barely) a 2 owner item. If you haven't heard of RoomPerfect do some searches or check my information link which goes to a good review. Having been told by several friends in the business that this was the room eq software for people that had never previously had much use for room eq systems (I'm firmly in that category) decided to give this a try and it doesn't disappoint. While the results made me feel pretty good about what I had been able to accomplish on my own with AudioTools and manually tweaking they definitely fixed a couple of room response problems I didn't even know I had and will be obsessing over once I pull this from the system.

Unfortunately I let myself get a little too excited about the McIntosh and didn't do the research to realize it would take some add on pieces to properly accommodate my overly complicated surround set up. Normally I'd hang on to it a while longer just to play with but cosmetics are so good on this one figure it's better to get it boxed up and ready to go for the next owner.

Near bulletproof McIntosh factory packaging in great shape (see pictures). Remote is new other than the little bit of time I've used it. Manual, microphone, high quality boom stand all in great shape. Local pickup with cash pay would be great but this is a safe ship in the factory packaging. Check my other ads for gear I'm selling. If you can do local we can maybe work out a package deal on some items.

I will give the buyer 14 days for returns but ONLY for issues not detailed in my description and NOT for buyer's remorse or not having properly researched whether this suits your needs. The buyer is responsible for any expense in the return and once I've gotten it back then carefully checked for abuse and that it's the same unit I shipped out I will issue a full refund.
