Quad ESL-2805 Exquisite Condition

Here is a pair of these wonderful, well regarded speakers available on the East Coast.  I am selling these for the original owner.  About 5 yrs old.   Well cared for in a smoke, child and pet free home and used only in a dedicated listening room. 

While I have rated these  as 9/10 due to age, they surely will impress as 10/10.  No cosmetic issues at all.  Functioning as intended. 

Quads are Electrostats, and are a special speaker.  I encourage you to "google" 'Quad 2805' and read the reviews and background information.  The reviews are essentially all positive and provide guidance on their use.

They come with the Manual and the original packing and boxes. Also included will be a copy of the coffee table style book, Quad:  The Closest Approach, telling the Quad story.

I prefer not to ship these, and therefore will make them available for pick up or I will deliver them within a 2  1/2 hour radius of my location  (this includes Balto/Washington, Phila. and Mid and South Jersey) for a fee of $50.00 (for gas expense, etc.).  If you live further than this and wish to meet me at one of these areas, that can be arranged.  You will need at a minimum a full size mini van or a pick-up truck (e.g. Silverado 1500 or Ford F150) and 4 tie down ratchet straps.   Space is needed for 2 boxes, each weighing about 130 lbs and measuring 48" x 34" x 23".  

For safe shipping via a freight company these need to be palletized.  I have yet to find a place to have this done in my immediate area, so for now, delivery will have to be local pick up or as stated above with me transporting them in the area indicated.
