I would like to ask the serial numbers, and any ownership history. Also, are there any signs of wire delamination or other degradation?
I'll be up in Berkeley for several days over Thanksgiving. I currently have 1.7's, looking to upgrade to 3 series.

| Roughly how old are they and has the ribbon been replaced ? Dominic, Palo Alto. CA purchased them new in 2000? they have spent more time in the closet than in my system.
