The Emerald CS2P open baffle speakers controlled by the DSP2.4 have flat response to 24Hz and are 93Db efficient. The 100wpc amp drives them to very loud levels. The speakers controlled dispersion design removes the rooms sonics and means that they will sound good in virtually all rooms.
The Peachtree Nova preamp/DAC has received excellent reviews and offers both solid state and tube sonics right from the remote control. The internal DAC is their $500.00 separate DACiTx that is exceptional and has 24 bit/192k asynchronous USB input along with dual coaxial and Toslink digital inputs. It even has a good headphone amp.

The system has superb dynamics, excellent midrange and great bass impact.

The CS2P is the upgrade for our first speaker, the revolutionary CS2. The CS2 required biamping with 2 amps to work. The new CS2P is designed to be an upgradable solution and you can start with Single amp operation. Later on add our new DSP 2.4 digital processor/crossover (included in this system) and extend the 40Hz bass to 24Hz as well as flatten the rest of the speakers frequency response out even more than possible with a passive crossover. The DSP2.4 is included with this system. Finally unhook the outboard passive crossover and add a second amp to biamp the CS2P for ultimate performance.

The new Emerald Physics DSP2.4 processor is a crossover/equalizer that comes with the It dramatically upgrades the CS2P by extending bass to 24Hz, flattening the entire frequency response and to eventually allow biamping for best sonics with the addition of a second small amp to run the tweeters.

Peachtree Audio Nova Preamp/DAC:

The totally newly designed Nova Preamplifier/DAC ($999) is a hi-value preamplifier, DAC & headphone amp in one chassis. The Class A Nova preamp can be run as either solid state or tube right from the remote control. It is like having two preamps in one. Play a poorly recorded source and switch in the tube buffer to add warmth. Use solid state to listen to hard driving rock as well as well recorded sources. Use the tubes for female vocals. The 24/192k Sabre DAC is exceptional and the 24/192k asynchronous USB input ready for all the hi-res music coming in the future. There are 2 sets of preouts to run an amp as well as subwoofer. There is also a high-quality headphone amplifier that will run even hi-impedance phones that are hard to drive. Good-looking cosmetics round this amp off with black lacquer cabinet.
