These have been sitting in my office for 15 years ($3,200 new). I'd like to sell of trade them for something more manageable. Includes the SW-100 bass panels ($3,200 new) that run full range and a Bylux ESL 130AS Modification Kit ($585 new) for the E-100 speakers (serial number 285). Great review of the speakers in Stereophile from 1994:

The line filters are also reviewed in March 1994 Stereophile, and are a Recommended Component in April 1994. In addition to being a power conditioner, they increase the polarizing voltage, which increases efficiency by approximately a factor of two, and allows the speaker diaphragm to move faster. I have the manual for these filters as well.
I do have the original speaker boxes (and manuals) but would far prefer to sell them in Southern California so you could pick up.
Each channel has an ES-100 full range panel, augmented by an SW-100 woofer panel of identical appearance, wired in parallel to the amplifier (tube or solid state). Each panel is approximately 74" tall X 14" wide.
Questions for the seller |
---|
So by your description there are 4 panels total (2 full range and 2 bass)? Each photo shows only 2 panels... Exactly. The panels are identical in appearance. 4 in total. The ES-100 are fine by themselves, but the SW-100 add bass. |
