Includes: • Gloss “piano black” paint • Graz CNC-spec replacement ribbons • New Cardas Rhodium speaker connectors • New Auricap XO x-overs • Custom Plexiglas sleeve protectors If you are looking at this ad, I don’t need to tell you about how these speakers were Apogee’s best performance value in their full range ribbon line – and at 4 ohm impedance, not needing a Krell or Levinson amp to drive them properly. Sized “just right” – smaller than the APOGEE, DIVA, or the SCINTILLA, but larger than the CALIPER or STAGE for that “being there” sound in your home! I CAN tell you that IF a quality, high current amp is used, no subwoofer is needed – with the D Sigs providing a full, tight bass response. The custom Plexiglas protective sleeves were fabricated (at a cost of several hundred dollars) to protect the ribbons from any future potential prying little hands and pet spraying (see Apogee Forum archives!).
