Pearl (Clone) MM Phono Amp

Hi, Up for auction is my now surplus to requirement Pearl clone MM phono amp. I had to upgrade to a Whest 2 to improve of the MM sound of this unit. It is very, very good indeed. The unit is ultra quiet and does an amazing job of suppressing those annoying crackles and pops. This unit was professionally built using matched Jfets and quality components as you can see from the photo's. It will run of of 110 to 240 volts through it's off board power supply. Comments about Pearl Phono alvatore Reference Phono page I recently built a Pass DIY "Pearl" phono preamp and inserted it into my system. It is essentially a simpler, lower-gain, single-ended Xono. I compared it to an Aragon 24K, and an Audio Research SP-8, and I have to admit it sounds pretty damn good #1anubisgrau If you like Pass ultimate XONO phono but can't afford it, this is for you. You are 90% there with tremendous savings. pug The Pearl throws the widest and deepest sound stage of any phono preamp I've heard, and the detail retrieval is second-to-none. Gain is about 43db (good for MM or medium output MC cartridge). It's dead quiet on my 100db sensitive speakers.
