I had my Absolute Phono installed by ClearAudio into a 9" ClearAudio Universal Tonearm with the optional VTA-on-the-fly base. The Universal is ClearAudio's top tonearm. It is called the Universal because of it's broad compatibility with many cartridges. I have found it to be a highly configurable, rock-solid replacement for my previous Kuzma 4Point.

I purchased my Absolute Phono and Universal Tonearm new from an authorized dealer less than a year ago. I was shipped direct to me from the ClearAudio distributor. Everything is in like-new condition and will be packed in the original packaging to arrive at your location just like it arrived at my home last year.

*** In response to some inquiries, I will not sell the Absolute Phono without the tonearm. The micro-amp installed in the tonearm is required for my Absolute Phono to operate. ClearAudio does make a slightly different product, called the Absolute Phono Inside, that does not require a micro-amp to be installed in the tonearm. While the Inside does offer the cartridge compatibility advantages from current amplification it cannot offer the 10db noise reduction because there is no micro-amp pre-amplifying the signal at the cartridge before transmission to the phono amp. ***
