One owner and in perfect working condition, this Audio Research
Reference tubed phono preamplifier is being sold on behalf of a
long-time friend who has moved to smaller living quarters and is no longer
able to maintain his audio system. It is rated 7/10 only because of a
slight blemish in the metal on the front panel. There is a small bright
spot of unknown origin underneath the right handle, difficult to see
unless you're within a few inches of it. Otherwise, this unit is really a
9/10. It has been fully tested and a complete set of working tubes
from ARC are included. Photos are of the actual item in this sale.
Note, this is a phono stage only, not a full-function preamplifier. Aside from high-gain (MC) and low-gain (MM) settings, the circuitry is only "phono in" and "phono out." There are no volume controls or line stage inputs.
Because of the size and weight, shipping is to continental US addresses only. Please ask for an exact shipping quote to your address. The original ARC double-box and manual are included.
