Offered for sale is my peachtree audio DACiT Digital-to-Analog Converter in silver finish. I purchased this new and have used it for about 6 months. Excellent condition. Looks and works perfectly. This is a really good doc for the money. The only reason I'm selling it is that I have been bitten by the DAC bug and have upgraded to a more expensive DAC. This unit ships in original box with remote control and all original parts and documentation.
Peachtree's DAC-iT DAC Offers 24bit/96k USB and 24bit/192k Coaxial Digital Capabilities
The Peachtree Audio DAC-iT is the company's latest audiophile-grade Digital-to-Analog Converter. This DAC has been optimized for computer audio and streaming music devices, as well as connection to a CD/DVD transport. The Peachtree DAC-iT features three digital inputs: USB, Optical, and Coaxial. All three inputs take advantage of the great sounding 24/192 ESS Sabre 9022 DAC chipset with its patented jitter reduction technology. A custom-designed fully-shielded metal chassis houses all the audiophile-grade electronics. They even include a remote control with discreet input selection as a bonus. This new DAC sounds incredible, and like all Peachtree products, its price-to-performance ratio is unmatched. The Peachtree Audio DAC-iT is a spectacular buy.
"Everything I threw at the DAC-iT had a deep, rich bottom end...everything sounded wonderful, relaxed, and (dare I say it) analog-like through the DAC-iT. It tamed some otherwise dodgy recordings, and never had me feeling that anything important was missing...if you're spending under $500, or even up to $1000, this is a DAC you have to hear."

Notes on the USB Input in the DAC-iT:
The DAC-iT's USB input is special in three critical ways. It is galvanically isolated, which is really important when dealing with electrical noise generated by a computer's USB output. Galvanic isolation eliminates that noise. Second, the DAC-iT's USB input accepts data up to 24/96 to handle high-resolution audio downloads. The third critical component is how the ESS Sabre DAC re-clocks incoming digital signals to reduce the high level of jitter that is inherent in streaming audio devices and computers. This unique re-clocking will make your computer audio sound like a high-end CD player.
