This vintage integrated amp has a dual mono-block design, tone defeats to shorten the signal path, two MM and one MC phono inputs as well as the tuner and aux inputs, very nice filtering options, and a very conservatively rated 85 continuous watts per channel. The sound and features of this audiophile grade amp are more on par with McIntosh gear of the same era, circa 1977. I enjoy it more than the Marantz 2285 or Sansui 9090 that I've had. The Onkyo A-10 is a wonderful vintage integrated amp. My favorite description is "over built." It has a warm, rich, yet detailed sound, true solid-state power, classic vintage looks, great features, and is in fantastic shape. Its only flaw is a small ding on the side of the faceplate, shown in the picture below, hence the low price. It's a hard decision to let this one go, these are rare finds, but it needs to find a new home where it can be played.
Anyone interested in equipment such as Pioneer, Harman Kardon, Sansui, McIntosh, Marantz, Rotel, Bowers & Wilkins, Klipsch, JBL, AR, or KEF may very well be interested in this great amp.
