Selling two Primare 30.5 solid state 5-channel home theater amplifiers. Amps are in perfect working condition with no major blemishes (may have some minor wear scratches). Both units were given major tuneup services in 2012 and 2013 ($800+). Units are true audiophile amplifiers rated conservitively at 120 watts per channel with each channel having it's own custom made toroidal transformer. I have two of these amps for sale weighing a little over 60lbs each, has 5 sets of speaker outputs on 5-way binding posts, and 5 inputs on RCA's. These are very nice amps with an MSRP of $2995.00 each. Check the web for great reviews on them. I will sell separately for $1200 or together for $2100. Paypal fees covered by me, but you pay for actual shipping charges.
Questions for the seller |

Would you consider this a warmer sounding amp. I'm looking for smooth, warmer, yet still detailed to go with my marantz 8802 processor.
Thank you!
Dan Dan
To be honest, I don't know much about amplifier sounds. I do know I previously owned the krell showcase, which I found to be the opposite of "warm". It was high and brittle in tone. Then, I purchased Bel Canto Ref1000. LOVED THEM! But, money was needed. Then, I went to Primare. I read up on the reviews, and am quite pleased with how my system sounds. However, it also depends on the speakers. I was using Martin Logan's with the Bel Cantos, now I am using Definitive Technology with the Primare. Hope this helps. Cheers |
