Parasound Halo A52

I bought this amp from The Good Guys when they liquidated. So it's at least 10 years ago and I don't remember the exact time. I just got it serviced by a Parasound Authorized repair agent in Chicago. The amp was having some problems going into protection mode. It was running fine for a week, but today it went into protection model again. The repair agent tune down the bias settings so it runs much cooler now. Maybe it just doesn't have enough juice to drive the electrostatic speakers I have like the repair agent said. He recommended that I upgrade to a more powerful unit hence I'm selling.

This is a great amp that will not let you down. I would not be willing to let it go otherwise since I have been very fond of it. Visit Audiogon or Stereophile and you'll know Parasound Halo units are nothing else but the top of the line. THX Ultra 2 Certified. Specs can be found on Parasound's website. Note that Parasound said that this unit is IDENTICAL in design and quality to the famous A51 EXCEPT it has less power, 125 Watt into 8 ohms and 225 Watt into 4 ohms.
