I’ve owned dozens of well regarded amps from manufactures including Acurus, Anthem, B&K, Rotel, Parasound Halo, Krell and McIntosh and the NuForce sound is honestly in a different league. The speed, detail, clarity and holographic imaging are absolutely
stunning at their price point. The midrange is smooth and liquid in nature with a sense of effortlessness. Music and voices flow from a black
background. I had no experience with class D amps before the NuForce and I am now a convert. In my opinion, traditional amp classes (AB,
A/B) are no match for this newer design.
NuForce recently upgraded the power supply in this unit and while in for service, I purchased a more powerful Class D amp. This unit is rated at 55watts per channel into 8 ohms and doubles to 110watts into 4 ohms. This amp drove efficient horn speakers in an HT system effortlessly. As stated previously, the sound quality is stunning. I’ve never heard better at this price or several x more.
I purchased this unit new from an authorized dealer and it’s about 8 months old. Shipping price is to 48 contiguous states.
