Musical Fidelity HT600 5 * 120 channel

Rare/classic Musical Fidelity multi channel amp based upon the circuitry from the A3CR and NuVista
The amp is in very good condition as expected from age. A wonderful detailed amplifier that was recently professionally serviced with upgraded output transistors and Kendiel capacitors(as used by Quad).
Amplifier was purchased in 2003, reconditioned in 2013.
Reason for sale is going to black as per WAF, I have 2, one has only 4 channels and will accept
an reasonable offer and was reconditioned at same time. This ad is for the MINT amp.

Upgrades

Sanken STD03 power transistors from the Sanken SAP16 discontinued and 20% lower specs
Kendeil K05 6800uf 105c 100v capacitors from the original NOVER 6800uf 85c 50v

these changes increased weight by 50% and I have the upgrade invoices

These amplifiers are essentially 5 mono A3CR amplifiers, very highly rated. The upgrades retained the beautiful detailed and smooth sound of the original but added extra power, control and bass tightness, maybe a touch more transparent. I kept these amps in preference to Wyred-4-Sound which I purchased to replace them but the silver/gold no longer looks right and I am changing to a black faced multi channel
