For Sale: Marantz MM-9000 5-Channel Amplifier
This has been a phenomenal unit but I am sadly selling it because I don't have a dedicated home theater room any more. There are a couple very minor flaws on the unit but it functions flawlessly and so I am conservatively rating it a 7/10. This unit was made in Japan, not China, and has received high praise for it's price point, plus I think it looks cool with the big brushed aluminum face plate. Add 3% for PayPal.
I have no feedback since this is my first time selling equipment online since this was my original Home Theater system I ever bought. I did sell a couch an craigslist once but I didn't get feedback for that that I can use here. I have worked closely with reputable high end audio salesman that I can use as references, and I am happy to send pictures and answer any questions you may have to start gaining positive feedback.

| What are the flaws ( photos welcome ). Is it performing well? Thanks.......... Chuck L. The unit is performing great. All 5 channels sound perfectly clear and never cut out, even at high volume. I had it pushing B&W CM Series speakers just fine for music and movies. The gains are clear, no crackling or noise in any of the channels. There is a tiny nick in the face plate on the right side that is about the size of a period on this chat box. And the top edge got rubbed by a belt buckle when carrying once that you can see if you get the light just right. Those are the only 2 cosmetic flaws. Functionally there is nothing to disclose. I added 2 pictures showing all flaws in as much detail as I could. |
