This is an opportunity to own a near-mint specimen of the venerable Adcom GFA-7500 home theater amplifier. All 5 channels work perfectly, and I could never get this baby to clip, no matter how hard I pushed it....until I bought low-sensitivity Von Schweikert speakers. They just needed more current, since their sensitivity rating is 82db. Any speaker in the upper 80s and higher will be kid's play for this amp.

I don't have the original box, but as the pictures show, this amp is in like-new condition, and my packing and shipping will make sure it reaches you that way. If needed, I can supply Monster Cable RCA cables for hooking up to your preamp - contact Charlie at 434-401-5313 and we can negotiate a nominal extra charge for them, if you're interested.

Please allow 3% extra for PayPal fee, and significant flat shipping charge of $75 (this baby weighs over 60 lbs!), unless you want to pick up locally in central Virginia.

Thanks for checking it out.

Questions for the seller
How old is the amp? Are you the original owner? Did you leave it powered on all the time?
Hi, Audiogon member. I am not the original owner. I am second owner. All I can tell you is that I have had it since 2008. Not being the original owner, I'm not sure of the total age. I left it on most of the time, hooked up to an excellent a/c line power conditioner - my philosophy, and that of most of the audio community, is that the most wear and tear to electronics comes from powering them up and down. I have the original owner's manual, and can assure you that all indicator lights and protective circuits work perfectly. I am a clean freak, so this amp even got dusted and damp wiped once per week. Hope this information helps, and thanks for your interest. Please feel free to call me at 434-401-5313 if you need any more info. I'm glad to provide it. Charlie
