When it comes to a flexible and expandable multi-room mainframe, Suite 16 has set the standard of excellence for over a decade. It accepts as many as sixteen source components (audio and video) and distributes them in sixteen zone increments up to ninety-six zones (96). This type of flexibility is specifically intended so that each and every acoustical area of a home receives its own discrete preamplifier, making it possible to contour the sound specifically to that environment. The Party Control feature permits room tracking such that several areas that are architecturally open to each other can still operate as independent zones even though they share the same source component. The Suite 16 system also enables what ADA has coined "Home ESP — Entertainment, Surveillance, & Paging" which permits room to room paging as well as the integration of close-circuit TV cameras into the system. From a telephone you can page a room or a group of rooms. If someone is ringing your doorbell, the camera's images can automatically appear on TVs and touch screens (including ADA's TS-5000). Lastly, Suite 16 is card based, making it easy to expand and most important, letting you purchase just the modules and cards that you need.

With the advent of Suite 32, Suite 16 benefits from the addition of the SR-16 card such that if you have but 16 zones yet require more than 16 inputs, you can still utilize the compact Suite 16 chassis for what is essentially a smaller Suite 32 system. And to help keep source selection easy from a user perspective, ADA has developed the Profiler. Profiler maintains profiles of the individuals that use the system and profiles can also be created for the occasional guest. Instead of selecting a source in a room, Profiler is designed to let you select your name and up come only your sources. Profiler limits the number of inputs you have to fuss with while at the same time preventing others from changing stations or songs that you are listening to. The PTM-1645 is often referred to as the "work horse" when it comes to multi-room sound. While other sixteen channel power amplifiers exist in the industry, none of them come close to the PTM-1645 with respect to performance, size and value. First and foremost, the PTM-1645 sounds amazing and is one of the main reasons ADA sits atop of the industry when it comes to multi-room sound. Able to drive eight independent zones, the PTM-1645 is also stable down to 2 Ohms - making it capable of driving four pair of 8 Ohm speakers per zone. Better yet, when adding a pair of speakers to a zone (2 pair of 8 Ohm speakers), instead of sharing power between the two pairs, the PTM-1645 nearly doubles it's output. The PTM-1645 also occupies only two rack spaces (3.5 inches in height) and because it is force-air cooled from side to side, it is specifically designed to be installed in very tightly packed racks. As for value, the PTM-1645 is built like a tank and designed to outlast other electronics out there.
