 If you're a perfectionist, forget about these because they are not the top quality fit and finish compared to the newer versions, but still are nice looking speakers. Hand made complex design, so not so easy to make perfect, like a typical "box" speaker. These are early model versions and hand built with the crossover in the base of the speaker . Raw plywood, maple baffle and tops.

  They have the amorphous core RAAL tweeter and Audio Technology C-Quenze 18H52 woofer. VHaudio Vcaps and Dueland resistors, and I think some special wiring.   They sound really amazing. Transparent high resolution sound, the imaging and soundstaging capabilities are first rate. I used a sub with them but they were in a big basement, In a smaller room a sub would be optional.

  They could be sent back to Vapor sound for an update and finish upgrade of your choice as far as I know, plus I believe they can be used as part of Joule Black speaker build to save money, though you would need to contact Vapor Sound to confirm this.

 Shipped in four heavy duty double wall 18" X 18" X 28" boxes with original inner packaging protection. Two at 37 pounds contain stands and two at 56 pounds contain speakers.
