The S-Z9 speakers originally came with the $1800 (US) Z9 reference audio system. They are a 3-way bass reflex design using a KEF UNI-Q Mid and tweeter with a carbon woofer. They are really something of an anomaly with surprisingly good sound. They have a beautiful, high-quality piano black finish. The fronts, sides and back are in very good condition. The tops are quite scratched up as shown in the picture. Probably could be buffed out and there are no deep gouges or dents. Both grills are included, and in good shape. One has a little wear on the lower left corner (see pic). Each speaker weights 21 Lbs! If the tops were not scratched they would be rated at an 8+, but I'm rating them lower only because of the scratches.
