The D4 utilizes a 4-inch woofer that crosses over to a 1-inch silk tweeter at 2.5 kHz with an 18dB high-pass filter in front of the tweeter as the woofer rolls off at 12dB per octave.

Era claims in-room bass extension to 60Hz and the rear-mounted port is tuned to the mid 50s to avoid one-note bass.

Recommended power is 50 to 150 watts for these 83.5dB efficient speakers.
