These speakers were placed side by side with a huge pair of Meridian speakers using identical 300 watt amplifiers. The verdict (by the owner of the Merdians) – the Meridians had “…slightly deeper bass…”

Mark & Daniel speakers are sold around the world and have won many audio awards, including Monitor of the Year, and several "Blue Moon" awards. They are known for their superb clarity, bass depth and spatial characteristics.

These Monitor speakers showcase all the features for which Mark & Daniel speakers have garnered a rabid global following among audio cognoscenti. They include seamless Monolith Marble cabinets, wide angle dispersion DREAMS air motion transformers for dazzling high end; patented long excursion Mark & Daniel bass speakers and low frequency crossovers.
How do they sound? Utterly #%*!@*# FANTASTIC! The depth of the bass and clarity of the upper end is phenomenal. If you closed your eyes and entered the room while these speakers were playing you would expect to see 4 foot tall floor standers with an eight inch woofer. They are superb!!! I have owned them new since Day One and carefully maintained them.
You will hear the rich depth and reverberation of the tympani in the concert hall; the perfect reproduction of cymbals and triangle, and the depth of the concert hall itself. They will bring your music to life! You will find yourself going through your record collection all over again!
Although they are "used" they are in excellent shape. Moreover, I will warranty them through Mark & Daniel for 3 years, parts and labor.
These speakers can also be bi-wired for additional depth and spatial imaging.
There are no cracks or chips in the cabinets, and no audio issues. I no longer have the speaker grills as I never used them.
Mark & Daniel Monitors with a slightly larger woofer currently retail for $3800 per pair. This is the model that started it all!
