LINN AKURATE 212 MONITOR SPEAKER W/STANDS

I am the original owner of this pair of Akurate 212's. They are the MK-1 series speakers in book matched cherry. I have rated them at 9/10 because they are about 10 years old. The cabinets and stands are without marks or damage, except for a tiny depression that would be overlooked if not mentioned. I have strapped the drivers with jumpers fabricated from Linn K-600 spealer cable, which you can see in the photos. This is the same stranded copper used internally. They were broken in properly, and never abused or over driven. They sound, and look fabulous. I have all the original packaging, manuals, and speaker grills ( which have never been used ). I have thoroughly enjoyed the 212's over these many years, but I have an opportunity to upgrade, and it's an opportunity I need to seize. Local pick up would be preferable as the stands are sand filled and very heavy. In order to ship, the sand would have to be emptied, and they would need to be disassembled. Shipping would not be a problem, but local pick up would be best, if possible. I would be happy to forward any specific photos upon request. I invite any and all offers.
