Grand Teton Special Edition
Wavetouch Audio is proud to announce the Grand Teton - Special Edition. Many months of listening and investment went into how to utilize our patented Waveguide horn system and a mix of premium parts starting with the custom wiring harness going to the custom External Crossover in a dedicated chamber for the ultimate in isolation to the heart of the loudspeaker system. To complement the very dynamic AMT tweeter we chose the the Mundorf Silver oil capacitor combined with the Clarity ESA capacitor for the tweeter a combination that is very natural as well as dynamic. The 5.25 inch Graphite composite rear ported woofer is fast and very powerful to complement the mid-Bass.
The Mundorf Supreme capacitor and Path Audio resistors we use are hand made and recognized as the world’s best! The inductor coils are pure copper foil from Jantzen Denmark. WBT Silver solder is used throughout as well as WBT Copper loudspeaker terminals .set in one custom 1 inch thick Baltic Birch enclosure. With the Special Edition you will be part of the musical performance hearing instruments with weight, tonal shadings, depth and sound staging outside the boundaries of the loudspeakers. We invite you to experience this loudspeaker system at a price that will compete with loudspeaker far more costly.
GT SE uses Neotech Solid core (16 gauge) Teflon Jacket, 99.9999% UP-OCC Mono-Crystal wire and Nordost Flatline cable with WBT silver solder as internal wires.
Just compare, even at 3X the cost, most companies hide their internal Xover parts and wiring details. Why? For most companies sadly use just plain average at best. The SE loudspeaker sound very expensive in pure musicality as well as build quality. It can be said without exception this loudspeaker is one of
the best audio buys you will ever make.
