In excellent condition. Fully functional, used as a desktop system in a smoke free, child free and pet free environment. All original accessories and mounting brackets for the speakers are included.
The Era D4 (now marketed as Peachtree D4) are high quality desktop speakers with a very solid soundstage and surprising bass performance for their size. They were listed as a Recommended Component by Stereophile and received an Editor's Choice designation by The Absolute Sound.
In the June/July 2006 issue of The Absolute Sound magazine, Robert A. Harley calls the Design 4 "cause for both consternation and optimism; consternation that many customers will spend the same or more on mass-market dreck, and optimism that sound this good can be had for so little money."
"Their extraordinary stereo imaging, grain free treble, and clean, detailed midrange deserve to be heard by those wanting to spend more than this on a pair of floor-standers," reports John Atkinson in his Stereophile review for January 2007.
