These are high quality Monitor Audio speakers that were highly rated and Stereophile Magazine rated. The Silver RS6 speakers provide a large soundstage from a smaller space saving tower speaker and have excellent quality accurate full range sound. Each cabinet has 2- 6" C-CAM drivers specifically designed for the RS6. The lower driver provides a full deep bass and the upper driver provides a punchy upper bass and a clear, natural midband right up to the crossover point with the tweeter at 3KHz. The tweeter is a 25mm Gold Dome C-CAM that provides accurate highs. The cabinet is front and rear ported for extended bass and the rear port has a plug that controls the amount of bass. The speakers can be bi-amped and have quality gold binding posts. The cabinets have rigid construction with multiple bracing positioned at critical resonance nodes that provides a clean, unboxy sound. These are well made great looking speakers and have real rosenut wood veneer. The bottoms are fitted with a wood plinth and height adjustable pads for hardwood floors or spikes for carpeting are provided. The speakers are in very clean Mint exterior condition and look near new. The speakers were set up but very minimally used due to a second high end sound system. The speakers will be shipped in the original boxes with the original packing in excellent condition. Both speakers have the same manufacturer serial number so are factory matched.
