This is a brand new Music Vault with Maximum internal storage with auto duplication. The Music vault II Ultra carries on where the Music vault II leaves off. First off it doubles the amount of storage from 2 TB or 3000 CDs to 4 TB and 6000 CDs. Next this has twice the Ram with 16 GB of Ram. The Music Vault II Ultra is nearly as fast as the M7 with aproximately 80% the speed of the M7 and is more than twice as fast as the Music Vault II utilizing the latest generation i5 processor from intel. I use a passive heatsink on the i5 to avoid the use of a CPU fan and I do use a case fan that operates at less than 10 Hz so you won’t hear any fan noise. I also use the best and quietest Western Digital 4 TB hard drives which are designed to track each othermore closely than other drives on the market. The Music Vault II already has pectacular performance but in the Ultra I include the SOTM USB output card for whait is surely the best possible USB out of any server.
The Music Vault II Ultra shares the same enclosure as the other Music Vaults which provide excellent cooling for a longer lasting server. The Music Vault II Ultra is the ultimate USB out Music Server suitable for the best DACs with USB in and will easily play any DSD file format and of course Hi Resolution PCM is effortless on the Music Vault II Ultra.

Remote control is accomplished via Laptop or Android Tablet or iPad.
