The NAD M50 Master Series Digital Music Player has received great reviews from the audiophile press. You can check out a recent review on Stereophile. The sound quality is terrific.
This player can be controlled from an Ipad, Iphone, Android tablet or Android phone with the NAD M50 or Bluesound apps from the Apple store or Android Play Store. The M50 is unique in that it will directly read and index your music files from your NAS, without any need for Twonky or Minimserver type setup and complexity. All common file formats are supported. Streaming music services include Qobuz, WIMP, Tunein radio and Spotify. Input is via hardwired ethernet or 2.4ghz wifi. Outputs include COAX, AES/EBU and ToshLink connections to an external DAC. CD's can be played directly through the front slot. There are too many features to list here.
This unit was purchased in February 2014. It is in Very Good condition with a few scratches on the top cover.
