Baetis Revolution I media server, BLACK, demo, reconditioned,
including new 1T USB3.0 external starter drive.
This is a trade-in from a Baetis dealer, moving up to one of our new
Revolution III models. The Revolution I
has our special BNC-SPDIF connector on the rear of the chassis, with the
galvanically isolated SPDIF signal straight from the motherboard. It uses our hand-made internal wiring, an
upgrade derived from our current models.
This Revolution I media server comes with:
2nd generation Intel Core i3-dual core
processor16 G of RAM (an option)
A 120G SSD for running the software
Our special digital noise filter for the SSD
A Panasonic Blu-ray optical drive for ripping CDs,
DVDs, and Blu-ray discsWe will install a new copy of JRiver Media Center 20
registered in your name prior to shipment.Up to 4 hours of our special Mastering Digital Audio
support and training – even if you’ve never used JRiver, or ripped CDs with dBPoweramp,
or ripped Blu-ray discs before, we’ll show you how with our built in Remote
Desktop Control software. Our special low ripple/noise power supply (DC).
1 year of hardware warranty (excluding the external
USB3.0 drive), andAll the advice you need on how to upgrade your audio
system, whether 2-channel or multi-channel or both, to take advantage of all
the recent improvements in digital audio.Note: The
Revolution I has (1) HDMI output not two as in the Rev III; it also has a DVI
output; plus 2 USB3.0 ports in the rear, plus 4 USB2.0 ports in the rear, along
with 2 USB2.0 ports in the front. The
motherboard also has the usual list of other outputs, but none of them are near the quality of our SPDIF connector (gold plated,
including the neutral).
The Revolution I outperforms all the USB outputs of
the typical factory computers (due to our special SPDIF output), and its
multi-channel sound still beats the typical universal disc player (because of
the playing via RAM and the great flexibility of the JRiver software). JRiver is the player for playing DSD music
the best-sounding way (via transcoding to WAV on the fly or before
playing). No USB-based DSD DAC can sound
as good playing DSD as a regular sigma-delta DAC playing DSD via the transcoding
process. Remember, a WAV file conversion
of the DSD file is THREE times (3x) the size of the naturally compressed DSD
file. Of course, if your DAC only does
DSD via DoP via a USB port, the computer and JRiver can do that as well.
NOTE: You MUST
purchase a special pure-sine-wave uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for use
with any of our media computers (warranty is void otherwise). We can
drop ship one to you for $120. The sale of this server is ONLY for users in
the U.S. See our website for further
details on our line of music and media servers.
