Great Condition. 1 Meter. Amazing sound! US Seller. VERY RARE ON AUDIOGON USED! Used in a non-smoking house.
The"flagship" products of the Supra line, the Swords nevertheless are well within the zeitgeist of Jenving Technology: performance and workmanship far beyond what one finds in competing products at or near the price. The Swords, in fact, compete with the world’s best and most expensive cables - at a cost that won’t break the bank. A number of discerning audiophiles have replaced their $2000-$5000-$10,000 cables with the Swords; yes, they’re that good!
As esteemed British magazine Hi-Fi Choice, in awarding Sword its Editor’s Choice, said:
"...this is a very striking cable, in the best sense. It is bold, architectural, and outgoing, with unsurpassed dynamics when the music gets going, but spaces between notes have an inky blackness that more than hints that the musical energy is going just where it was intended, with no bloat or overhang.
"Detail is also abundant, but is produced quite naturally with wholly believable orchestral strings tone and vocal quality, and, perhaps best of all, a suitably percussive piano reproduction."
Hi-Fi World (U.K.) said this:
"...the Sword is good enough to take on anything. It is exceptionally neutral; bass is seriously strong and clean, but there’s no artificial bloom. Midband is translucent, with a light, airy, spacious, widescreen presentation, and treble gloriously crisp and delicate; dynamically, it’s bold and powerful; an essential audition at the price"
Using bifilar wound litz conductors, each comprised of 24 individually insulated wires, they’re wound in a helix pattern, twelve in one direction, twelve in the other, thus canceling out magnetic fields. And "skin effect" is canceled, also! Sword therefore is a non-inductive and phase-stable cable - rendering the accurate "sheen" of high frequencies and the soundstage image flawlessly. Moreover, you’ll find music’s rhythm, timing, and transient characteristics to be impeccable.
