Integrating technology from Kimber Kable's critically
acclaimed Model 88 Black Pearl loudspeaker cable, the Kimber Select
KS-1030 single-ended interconnect utilizes the company's unique Black
Pearl silver conductors in an orthogonally braided geometry. This
superior conductor works in conjunction with other proprietary
technologies to guard against signal distorting influences, both
electrodynamic and acoustic.

In his February 23, 2000 review for Stereo Times,
Adnan Arduman praises the SK-1030 for its "holographic presentation,
clarity, openness, airiness, resolution, high frequency and low
frequency extension, and accuracy of timbre." According to, "It was as
if I had lifted many veils between the music and myself.

You'll have to spend a lot more money to match the
performance of Select KS-1030. Termination is with WBT-0102 Ag RCAs,
plated with fine pure silver. The body is constructed with brass and
then platinum or gold plated to give a nice aesthetic appeal. The
central contact assembly is made of Ultramid and the negative contact
uses Dyneon. The barrel is comprised of brass with a shiny black piano
lacquer finish.
