I bought these Kimber Kable balanced interconnects in 3 meter length from the Kimber Krew at a hi-fi show (hence the packaging) to use with short speaker cables (see my other listings for Kimber 4AG speaker cables) in a mono-block amp system. The system never happened, and I now have a stereo amp, so the long interconnects and short speaker cables don't work for me. I still think it's the way to go (long balanced IC's, short speaker cables), but oh well! If you're running a balanced mono-block system, you'd have to pay a lot more than $699.95 for 3m to better the Kimber Silver Streaks (I use them between my SACD and pre, and pre and power, both in 1m lengths). Silver wire signal, copper return, they sound fantastic. Brand new, never used, 1/3 of retail. Shipping will be $10.00, Paypal fees 3.5%.
