Freedom audio interconnect cable is state-of-the-art in every way. Utilizing UP-OCC (Ultra-Pure Ohno Cast Copper) conductors, Freedom simply out performs cables at many times the price.

Each conductor in Freedom is comprised of several strands of mono-crystal copper. Unlike OFC, mono-crystal copper is processed in such a way that each conductor strand is made from a single copper crystal. This process is called Ohno Continuous Casting. UP-OCC is a shorter way of saying Ultra Pure Ohno Cast Copper.

We put a great deal of thought into Freedom RCA cables and having a high quality conductor in the right configuration is great but a poorly designed connector can make a very good cable sound very bad. Freedom uses Puresonic's Multi-Contact RCA connector which is unique in a number of ways. First, it is made with pure copper for the signal conductor and beryllium copper for the grounds. Yes, grounds. The Puresonic Multi-Contact RCA fits all RCA jacks properly with a snug but not overly tight grip. The grounds are very small points of high pressure contact that minimize current eddys. The two UP-OCC shields are telescoped and are not connected at the output end of the cable. This is a big reason why Freedom rejects noise so well without affecting the musical performance of the cable.

If you want a cable that has been designed from the ground up to provide a more natural presentation of real music Freedom may be just the thing for your system. We've used this demo set at a few shows but you won't be able to tell, they are perfect. The only reason I rated them a 9 is because they have been used.

I realize that the hyperbole is heavy in the cable world and there is nothing I can say about Freedom that can help you identify it as a real bargain at any price. Sometimes trying something new can be very rewarding. You'll get every nickels worth with the Freedom cables.
