"Just Released" Level 3.2 "Reference Series" PONO to RCA Interconnects (starting at $200 for a 1/2m pair): A stereo pair of AntiCable Interconnects which will enable line level analog connections between your PONO player and preamp. Since the PONO player has a volume control, it can also be directly connected to your power amplifier.

These ICs use our Reference Series ACElectrum™ Silver/Gold alloy signal wire. Adding a small amount of Gold eliminates the sonic signature of Silver, leaving only the music to be heard. We absolutely love the sound of this new ACElectrum™ Silver/Gold alloy wire, which is used in all of our Reference Level interconnects.
The Level 3.2 version incorporates the Keith Louis Eichmann Copper-Harmony plugs. There is the option to select Silver-Harmony RCA plugs for a Level 4.2 Reference PLUS build, or select the PURE-Harmony plugs for a Level 5.2 PURE Reference build. Learn more about the KLE Harmony plugs HERE
These IC use dual 3.5mm audio plugs on the PONO ends for a true dual mono design, and also allow for the option of ordering a true balanced XLR configuration. The 3.5mm audio plugs are very high quality Gold plated 90% Copper alloy.

Upgrade Paths:
- Upgrade to a Level 4.2 build by selecting the optional Silver-Harmony plugs which are more resolving.
- Upgrade to a Level 5.2 build by selecting the optional PURE-Harmony RCA plugs, which are even more resolving, dynamic and open sounding.
- If your gear runs fully balanced, select the True Balanced XLR option, and remember to set your PONO player ito its balanced output configuration.
Design Concept:
Typical interconnect cables usually have a signal wire surrounded with a thick plastic dielectric material, which is then surrounded by the ground conductor to shield it from EMI/RFI noise, and then more plastic dielectric material. This typical approach has the usual drawbacks of accumulating a lot of dielectric effect distortion, and an accumulation of shunting capacitance. The Anti-Cable Analog RCA Interconnects use a different approach. Since air is a near perfect dielectric, no extra insulation dielectric material (beyond the thin red coating) is used, and the wires are suspended in free air. Eliminating dielectric effect distortion is what allows these interconnects to sound like music, (not a cable).
