Selling a pair of Von Schweikert VR-35 Export Deluxe floor standing speakers. These are amazing sounding speakers and will compete with much higher priced speakers, period. I would say realistically that these will compete with $15K-$20K speakers. Very musical!

They have upgraded binding post (those used on Albert's very expensive models), internal wiring is Master Built by Delphi Aerospace, the internal wire gauge for the subwoofer was doubled, spikes are those used on Albert's very expensive models, additional copper foil and teflon capacitors were added to the midrange circuits - normal production uses the expensive caps on the tweeter only, and internal dampening that is a highly absorbent rubber material that increase the sound proofing inside the mid-range cabinet (used on the VR-5, VR-9, VR-11 models). You won't find this type of quality for this price. Priority was given to the sound quality instead of fancy painted cabinets. The VR-35 is designed to set close to the rear wall because of the 10" rear firing bass woofer. I have the letter from Albert stating the upgrades.
Who ever ends up purchasing these speakers will end up with an incredible pair of speakers. These are one of the best bargains in high end audio. My Audiogon feedback is perfect because I always am honest with my assessment of my gear. Don't miss out on these.
