This listing is for a pair of Nimbus Black that will be shipped in 4-6 weeks after purchase.  The cabinets are completed other than being painted, so purchaser can choose their own paint color.  Also they can add any upgrades desired such as Duelund capacitors, silver/gold internal wiring, etc.  Included in the listing price are the following upgrade options free:

The Vapor Audio Nimbus has turned the industry upside down.  Nowhere else is there such a compelling combination of performance, build and component quality, and appearance available for less than $25,000 ... and the Nimbus starts at half that! 

As is the case with each model from Vapor Audio, the Nimbus begins with uncompromising build quality.  By using walls constructed of numerous thin layers and epoxied over forms, we end up with incredibly strong and dense pre-tensioned panels.  Inside that is another 1/2" thick layer of our Inversion Layer material which further reduces wall resonances and sound transmission from inside the cabinet.  Extensive 1" thick bracing is added throughout the cabinet as well.  And to finish things off, a 2" thick multi-material composite baffle is cut using CNC giving time alignment between the midrange drivers and tweeter. 

Inside the cabinet are some of the finest drivers and components available today.  The RAAL tweeter is unrivaled in it's tonal accuracy, speed, and addictive sweetness.  Once listeners live with a RAAL tweeter, it's near impossible to be satisfied by anything else.  The midrange used is a state of the art design using glass fiber in paper cones with a Symmetric Drive magnet system for ultra low distortion and thermal compression.  The woofer is of uncompromised design, massive motor with thick distortion lower shorting rings, and measures 15".  Bass isn't just deep and powerful, but also tonally dense and fleshed out. 

Each Nimbus is custom made per our customer’s specs and the options are nearly limitless.  Any paint desired can be applied to your Nimbus, or combinations of colors.  Wood veneer accent pieces can also be applied for an extra charge.  Even the crossover and internal wiring can be tweaked to wring every bit of nuance out of a recording. Our standard crossover is already an exceptional level, using high grade components such as VH Audio OIMP capacitors and Jensen wax/paper inductors, but if there is a particular flavor you are going for we are more than happy to accommodate.
