Vandersteen 5a Madagascar Ebony

Vandersteen 5A's in Ebony come up rarely, are highly sought out, and they tend to go fast. They are my favorite "sanely-priced" reference-level speakers of all time.

My asking price includes the battery-biased, high-pass crossovers. They are balanced (XLR) and they are the newer Audioquest Sky-based version.

One very important point. These speakers were manufactured as 5A's. They are NOT 5's that were upgraded to 5A status.

The Audiogon Bluebook used resale value on 5A's is $11.400! My asking price is below the bluebook average.
