Usher Audio CP-8571 II Dancer Speakers in Birch Finish

For sale to a buyer close to the SF Bay Area are the truly great
Usher 8571 II speakers. I am the original owner and have thoroughly enjoyed
their sound for the past several years. I you are unfamiliar with Usher speakers, please read the review by Chris Martens in TAS for some idea of their sound. I find this quote especially true, "The Usher is among the most holographic speakers you could hope to hear, producing images that float free from its surfaces." Martens' review was based on the original Beryllium tweeters that I upgraded to DMD (diamond) for a more extended top end. Really a superb combination. If you want to try the original Be tweets, they are included with this sale. 

I’ve rated them an 8 due to age and a couple of small nicks
to the Birch finish (see pic). I also had the misfortune to drop one of
the upper speaker grills and snapped one of its four prongs that hold grill to front face.The three remaining prongs however, keep it nice and secure. Overall, really beautiful gloss
black finish and wood surfaces that exude quality.

I wish I could ship these, but I didn’t keep the large crates they came in, so local pickup will be required. These speakers
are HEAVY at 114 lbs each so be forewarned it takes a couple of stout individuals to
move them safely. I did save the cloth covers that came with the speakers that
will help prevent scratches during transport.
