Transformers Audio Model 2 speakers

A pair of Transformers audio Model 2 speakers for sale. This is a customized pair that was a special order for me. I got the upgrade bug and I purchased the Model 1 Signature, so here is your chance to grab a pair of top quality full range speakers at a very affordable price.

Transformers audio is a new audio company manufacturing very high quality speakers using excellent parts.

Model 2 specifications:

- 3 way full range bass reflex design

- Scanspeak drivers (1" tweeter, 6.5" midrange driver, 10" bass driver)

- Frequency and phased optimized crossover network with premium category Jansen caps and coils

- Frequency response: 25Hz-22kHz +/- 1.5dB

- Sensitivity: 90 dB @ 2.83 V/1m

- PTFE insulated single crystal OCC copper internal wires

- Very thick cabinet made of MDF. Side and rear wall thickness is 40mm, front baffle thickness is 60mm. The cabinet itself is made of 3 separate smaller cabinets for the tweeter, midrange and bass and all of them have this thickness. The tweeter and the midrange cabinet are acoustically separated by a 25mm thick acrylic plate.

When I had ordered the Model 2, I upgraded from the Wilson Audio Sophia 2. I simply loved the Sophia 2 but, to my taste, these speakers outperformed them in terms of neutrality, resolution, transparency, frequency response, low bass performance and overall musicality. My new listening room is large enough for the Model 1 Signature, which are a behemoth: 175 cm high and 220 kg each.

Due to the size and weight I would prefer local pickup and payment in cash but I can arrange shipping and in this case I can absorb the half of the freight cost. In the latter case payment is via wire transfer.
