Here is an opportunity to own an absolutely perfect pair of these highly regarded floor standing loudspeakers in perfect cosmetic and functional condition.  I am the sole owner.
I purchased these new from Stereo Exchange in NYC back in January of this year.  The recommended break in period is 60-80 hours at low volume.  These have perhaps 20 hours so far.
As the photos relate,  they are a two way,  column ported design with a frequency response of 31hz-21khz which is fairly broad given the size of the low frequency driver.  Bi-wireable,  which I experimented with using Goertz Veracity cables and a Pass Labs X150.5 amp.  They are 8 ohms and suggest amplification between 30 and 120 watts. I then also played with a pair of Musical Fidelity M1 PWR mono blocks which are rated at 100 watts per channel which is pictured.
Original shipping cartons,  packing materials included.  Totem does not include a user manual so that will be provided in copy form from their website,  which is how they require customers to obtain one.  They do not provide grills,  but they are available at approximately $150 per pair from their dealers.  I never saw a need for them as I didn't when I had a pair of their Rainmakers a few years ago.
I have wrapped the claws carefully,  along with the screws that they attach with to the bottom of the speakers.  They did provide a rather haphazard pair of jumpers for each speaker that looked as though they were found lying on someone's garage floor,  but I tossed them away since I bi-wired them.  You can make your own pair if you're not bi-wiring.  Totem recommends bi-wiring.
As stated,  these are in as-new condition.  I did not see the need to "load" them with shot or anything because I was content with them as they were.  No smoking kids or smoking pets,  either.
While I am willing to offer shipping in their original cartons,  practically every sale I've made here on Audiogon with other members has been personally delivered within a 50 mile radius of zip 11755 at no additional charge.  I actually prefer this method for obvious reasons - first and foremost being that I take care of my stuff.  That being noted,  any shipping charges will be borne by the buyer at additional cost over my price.
Payment: I accept Paypal,  or cash on delivery when so agreed upon,  Paypal fee?  Ridiculous.  Paypal fee is included in my price.  (NOT factored in;  I find it insulting that many sellers feel it necessary to tack on the fee.  It's the cost of doing business.)
These are offered in exactly the condition I received them in.
Reason for selling:  Financing mono block amplifier purchase for use with less efficient loudspeakers.
Thank you for looking.
