We’re Stereo Exchange, located in New York City. We've been in business since the 1970s and are a major high-end dealer. We have all the current top brands on display, including Totem, in our huge showroom.

For Sale: One pair of Totem Model 1 SIGNATURE speakers, used, in beautiful CHERRY finish.

The Model 1 Signature is a model that helped put Totem on the high-end map, and is one of their most respected, and asked for (on the used market) models.

This pair sounds as good as any pair I have heard, and the cabinet condition is really wonderful.

One woofer has a dent in the center dust cap, but, try as I did, I simply can’t hear ANY difference between the “good” and the “imperfect” woofer.

If you ever manage to convince yourself that there IS a difference, you can always order a new one from Totem! I’m quite sure that won’t happen.

The front face is narrow, which makes them image better. Much better. These speakers image really well, even compared to other $3000/pr (their original price) speakers.

They also go fairly deep in the bass for a speaker this size, and are VERY dynamic.

Because this model has wide dispersion, you can sit almost anywhere in the room and hear great stereo. The “sweet spot” is VERY large on these speakers.

The cabinet is not too heavy, so it does not store energy and slur the bass (it also makes shipping less expensive!). It is, however, VERY rigid, with mitered joint construction.

The crossover allows for bi-wiring or bi-amping. Jumpers are already on the rear.
