For Sale: One pair of USED Sonus Faber Cemona Auditor speakers with floor stands. They are in FINE shape. They sound great, too.

I will go further…they are one of the best compact speakers I have ever heard, and probably the best-looking, too!

They come with the famous Sonus Faber “string” grills which are acoustically transparent and look smashing, the two stands, and the stand spikes.

The only blemish of significance I could find was (see photo) a tiny “ding” on the rear top of ONE speaker.

They are in GREAT shape.

The speakers themselves are about 14.5 high x 12.5 deep and about 7.5 wide.

On the stands they are just under 40 inches high with the spikes on the stands.

Thanks goodness the stands come apart, so shipping them will not be a problem.

The speakers will come in one box, the stands in another.

Because there will be two boxes, the UPS calculator will not work, but figure about $100-$120 to the Western half of the country and less elsewhere, plus a bit for insurance.

These speakers are beautiful. Their wood finish is as good as it gets.

Their curved sides make them look even smaller, while making the cabinet VERY rigid for cleaner sound.

These are truly hand-crafted cabinets and put all other brands to shame, wood-working-wise.

The construction is beautiful right down to the design of the speaker terminals, which are almost a work of art themselves.

The famous Sonus Faber tweeter design is good out to 30,000Hz, so it the small peak in response that all tweeters have is WAY past the hearing range of 20,000Hz. This explains why they sound so very smooth.

They also have very wide sound dispersion, like most small speakers. Unlike some speakers with a narrow “sweet spot”, these speakers produce a nice stereo image over a wide angle.

The Cremona Auditor was designed for use with amplifiers between 50 and 250 Watts, and it is a 4-Ohm speaker. These speakers are still a reasonably easy “load” and will work well with most amplifiers, including many tube amps.

At 88dB of sensitivity, they do not soak up too much power like many other great compact speakers do.

If you have never heard this model, it has a sweet high end, smooth midrange, and astonishingly good bass.
